The "Cradle to Cradle®" Book

The book introduces "Cradle to Cradle®-Design" to the public.

The English version itself is an example of a Cradle to Cradle®-product.  Developed by innovative book packager Charles Melcher of Melcher Media, the book is a prototype of a "technical nutrient". It is printed and bound on "synthetic" paper made of plastic resins and inorganic fillers designed to be broken down and circulated infinitely in "technical cycles" - re-made into "paper" or other products.

Cradle to Cradle® for the built environment

The latest publication of Michael Braungart and Douglas Mulhall addresses planners and architects.
Many of them are not yet familiar with how to integrate C2C® features, such as beneficial materials, into the built environment. A rapid acceleration occurred from 2008 to 2010 in the numbers of planners, architects and engineers introducing C2C® concepts into planning and construction. A priority expressed by government agencies is to translate C2C® into renovation and new construction of buildings. Those requests resulted in these Cradle to Cradle® Criteria for the built environment.

Cradle to cradle in bedrijf by Marieke van der Werf

Intelligent and innovative design allows these frontrunners to keep and recycle their pure recources without a loss of quality, and use them for new products. In this way, the companies save money, profit more and design human friendly products without harmful substances.
