EPEA Welcomes Frans Beckers as Managing Director

EPEA is excited to welcome Frans Beckers as the managing director of EPEA Nederland B.V. in Eindhoven as of March 1, 2013.

For the last 15 years Frans Beckers worked for Van Gansewinkel Group in various roles, the latest being director of  materials, concepts and infrastructure. Frans Beckers was the key person in transforming the company from waste to nutrient management. In the last three years over 200 employees were trained in Cradle to Cradle^®.

This engagement to our team in Eindhoven underlines the importance of the Netherlands and Benelux for the development of Cradle to Cradle^®. The Netherlands is central to the growth, emphasized by its role in the 2011 Cradle to Cradle^® Festival in Berlin as well as the 2012 FLORIADE World Horticulture Expo in Venlo and the chairs held by Prof. Dr. Michael Braungart at University Twente and the Rotterdam School of Management.

Frans Beckers, along with the entire EPEA team, is dedicated to empowering ever more companies and organisations within Benelux to adopt Cradle to Cradle^® principles and thereby maintain the leading position of Benelux as an innovation driver for Cradle to Cradle^®.

PUMA launches its first C2C certified InCycle Collection

Global Sportlifestyle company PUMA launches InCycle, the brand’s first closed-loop collection of footwear, apparel and accessories, all of which have earned the “Cradle to Cradle CertifiedCM Basic” certification. the collection has been developed in collaboration with EPEA in Hamburg.
